Rufaro holds a Master’s in Development Finance from Stellenbosch Business School and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.  

She is also a Social Entrepreneur with interests in inclusive agriculture, primary healthcare and Impact Funding. Rufaro started her career in assurance and audit with Deloitte and worked in various offices including Harare and Sydney specializing in technical and advisory before moving into the financial services sector where she held various leadership roles in the Australian market. She has extensive experience in strategic operations, economic development, finance, governance, entreprenuership and private sector development.  

Rufaro also sits as a Non-Executive Director on a listed FMCG company, a specialist Fiduciary Financial Services company and is also the Deputy Chairperson for the Women’s Chartered Accountants Network (WeCAN) in Zimbabwe.
