Since Covid-19 began, our friends at Shujaaz Inc have been tracking the impact of the pandemic on young people across Kenya. We are posting their eighth (and, for the time being, final) barometer because we think it’s important that young people’s voice get heard in these difficult times. For a start, 60% of Kenya’s population is under 25 – so that’s a lot of people. Secondly – and no question – the economic response to Covid-19 is going to create exceptional difficulties for this population group in particular.
