The Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF) is establishing a global knowledge network that accelerates the creation and transfer of knowledge relating to FinTech: the Cambridge Alternative Finance Collaboration Network (CAFCN).
Through a partnership with the CCAF on a sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) research collaboration, we are seeking an experienced researcher to lead research on the regulation of alternative finance/FinTech in SSA for the CAFCN. The role will lead the regional regulatory research in SSA, provide key regulatory and supervisory data and insights to inform and enable the work and practice of FinTech market participants, policymakers and regulators.
Working closely with the CCAF at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, this role will support the development of a more enabling regulatory environment across the SSA and contribute to regulatory capacity building and education.
