The Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF) is establishing a global knowledge network that accelerates the creation and transfer of knowledge relating to FinTech: the Cambridge Alternative Finance Collaboration Network (CAFCN).
Through a partnership with the CCAF on a sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) research collaboration, we are seeking a market researcher to develop and implement a coherent, strategic research programme on market development of alternative finance/FinTech in SSA. The successful applicant will have extensive experience of both quantitative and qualitative research in market data collection and analysis, as well as knowledge in technology-enabled financial innovation (e.g. mobile payment, crowdfunding, digital saving).
Working closely with the CCAF at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, this role will conduct market research which will advance the understanding of the evolving FinTech industry in SSA and provide reliable and independent markets to enable evidence-based decision-making by market participants, policymakers and regulators.
